This collection is designed to bring together all types of research work, normally generated in the academic context of universities. They are usually collectively authored (although they can also be individual) and have one or more external editors, generally linked to a research group, who act as coordinator and responsible for the edition.

The basic format is din-a5 but, depending on the contents, it can adopt the format and size that is necessary and even a specific interior graphic design that is more suitable for the materials it contains. Sometimes foldouts or even folded plans are included. They are all given unity by the distinctive cover paper and the type of stylised illustrations with overlays and transparencies.
