Photography

An instant stolen from the unstoppable flow of time, a fleeting glance captured for eternity. Instantaneous and enduring, such is the dual nature of photography. An art that captures the external reality as much as it reveals the inner universe of its creator.

Photography does not portray the world objectively as it is, but as it is seen by certain eyes, at a certain moment in life. Before the lens of the camera's objective appears the filter of one's own gaze, the one that is unconsciously directed according to multiple circumstantial and personal factors.

Interests, obsessions, memories, concerns, desires, resonances... All of them are the reasons that drive us to press the shutter release button in front of a specific situation in order to immortalise it. And it will be these same factors, those specific to the observer, that reconfigure once again, through a third lens, the world seen through other eyes.
